The Rating Methodology is divided into three factors:
- A. Preliminary Clustering – Admission cut off provided by the state board.
- B. Rating of colleges – Based on a max-min schema of the cut-offs (rank or marks) available for the best or worst branches of each engineering college.
- C. Discrimination within clusters –Research output, institutional infrastructure, accreditation, faculty data and other available parameters.
