What is Screen Mirroring?View or Quick Connect {how do I use it with my TV and Android mobile device?
Screen mirroring or screen casting allows you to mirror your mobile device's content to your TV screen.
Screen mirroring technology has changed substantially over recent years
and the best method to mirror your screen will differ depending on the
age, model and manufacturer of your smartphone, tablet and TV.
A lot of apps, such as Netflix and Youtube now have a screen mirroring
function built in. If you are using a casting device such as
Chromecast, you may need to connect your account for that app to the
casting app in order to mirror.
What is Screen Mirroring and how do I use it with my TV and Android mobile device?
All recent Samsung tablets and smartphones will have the ability to screen mirror.
The screen mirroring function on your smartphone or tablet will be called Screen Mirroring, Smart View or Quick Connect depending on your model and operating system.
The quickest way to find this function is to use your finger to drag
down from the top of your screen to pull up the notification menu and
look for the function.
Screen mirroring and Smart View will appear as an icon in the menu, and
Quick Connect will appear as a search bar beneath the icon menu. (Note
that you may need to drag down twice to access the full menu).

To connect using a wired connection, you will need:

An HDMI cable.

An OTG (On-The-Go) USB adaptor or MHL adaptor
3
A TV with an HDMI connection
4
Your mobile device
Follow the below steps to connect using an HDMI cable and adaptor:

Connect the micro USB port attached to the adaptor to your device.

Connect a power supply to the adaptor (you can use a USB port or plug)

Connect the HDMI cable to your OTG or MHL Adaptor
4
Connect the HDMI cable to the HDMI connection at the back of your TV

Turn on your TV and select the channel that the HDMI cable is plugged into.
You can find this by pressing Source on your remote. This
will bring up the different types of input channels. Select the HDMI
channel you connected the cable to (you may have more than one HDMI
connection with HDMI1, HDMI2 etc).
You should now be able to see your device's screen.
